2018 Potamida Liatiko Red

The Philosophy
The fruit is sourced from a single privately owned vineyard, with old vines in the Potamida area. It is an idiosyncratic wine that expresses the rustic aspect of Liatiko grape variety with ripe sweet aromas, highlighting the uniqueness of the Cretan terroir. With its highly gastronomic profile, this wine is the perfect accompaniment to exceptional dishes and delicacies.
Flavor Characteristics
Pale red-orange color. Complex and ripe aroma of sweet spices such as clove and cardamom, herbs, jammy fruits reminiscent of cherries and figs along with hints of pepper, tobacco and leather. Rich and robust flavor, but at the same time elegant with high -but very well integrated- alcohol and a long spicy aftertaste.
