Based in the heart of Prague, Czech Republic, we’re on a mission to uncork the magic of Greek wines, specifically the hidden gems from the vineyards of Crete! Established in 1989, the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Crete zone spans the four distinguished districts of Lasithi, Heraklion, Rethymnon, and Chania, collectively encapsulating the largest and southernmost Greek island.

Situated strategically, the vineyards of Crete extend from the eastern to the western extremities, predominantly gracing the northern landscape. Crete boasts Europe’s, if not the world’s, most historic vineyard. Its enduring role in the island’s productive and social life has been consistently documented, spanning from early Minoan times to the present day through archaeological and historical research.
